Hi I just received Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Hi I'm a long time BlackBerry enthusiast that recently switched to a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I'm new to android any suggestions for me? Does the Note 2 support OTA updates I heard that the Note 2 may get Lollipop when Verizon releases it to the Note 2 will it be OTA ?

The support time is usually 2 years, so I don't think the Note 2 will be getting Lollipop. then again, if you read the comments from people who have gotten the update, you might not want it (I know I don't). My KitKat phone is doing everything I need and without bugs.

Updates from the carrier are OTA, although many people capture the OTA file and post it on the appropriate forum at XDA Forums. There might also be some other ROMs you'd like over there, even if they're based on earlier versions.

Samsung did say something about the Note 2 getting an OTA update to Lollipop however didn't mention what variants would get it and when.
