Thanks to this forum, I am now the proud owner of a refurbished LG Optimus S with a 16mb microSDHC card.

Ting is my new service provider, and I highly recommend their pricing rates, pricing policies and configurable plans to all but the most serious data hogs.

I reverted my phone to ZVD and successfully rooted it using optiauto-sfx.exe. I have also done a "Nandroid backup."

I am a complete beginner at this, so I am shying away from alpha ROMs for now. Any suggestions for me on what I should do next? What is your favorite stable ROM that would work for my phone?

Thanks for being such a great resource!

good job so far on getting all that accomplished. i too have a optimus s but im using it on straight talk. i recommend the hydrorom 1.1.0. you would have to download a patch to get the radio working on your phone again. or if you want to stay on the zvd baseband you can always use cm7.2 port. but there are literally dozens of roms for this phone. it was lucky enough to be an older phone that enough people had an interest in to keep developing for it. in fact i believe the devs are still working hard. oh and im not sure what your recovery is but in my optinion xionia is the best.
