Hi. My name is Carrie and I have an addiction....

Mind you, I do have one caveat about early upgrading. I was talking to my wife about what would convince me to upgrade early as in the Note 10/11. With my contact I could just pay $150 and get the Note 10 and start the contract again or pay nothing and renew my contract after the standard 2 years. I keep saying nothing I anticipate that comes with the Note 10/11 would convince me to upgrade. I'm personally doubting the Note line will continue to a Note 11 but that's another thread, just reading about the less than anticipated sales of the Note 9, despite its massive favorable reviews.

3 and 4 cameras wouldn't get me upgrading, more RAM, more storage wouldn't, 5G wouldn't, a much better Bixby wouldn't. Etc etc. I can't imagine what feature would do it for me.

However.......

If the rumours of the graphene reinforced lithium ion batteries materialise, I'd seriously consider it. 5 times faster charging, longer battery life, much safer and able to tolerate higher temperatures. A phone that can charge in 15 mins, or being a bit conservative for a larger capacity battery, 20-25 mins. If that came out, yeah, I'd upgrade in just a year contrary to my normal nature.

That is a MASSIVE feature improvement I wouldn't say no to. I'm doubting the rumours that the Note 10 will see this but you know the saying, never say never.

I'm a recovering addict :-)
Didn't preorder the Note 9 and got the Galaxy Watch instead to go with my note8, I'll be looking for a deal on Note 9 on black Friday though

Same. Still using the S8. Waiting for the S10.

I'm a phone addict , but the most phones I've had at one time is two. With the release of the note 9 I just got down to one phone. I was hoping to keep my s8 plus as a back up, but I had to turn it in. I used to feel bad about having two phones, but now not so much. Lol

My addiction is knowing everything about what the phone can do, best apps, etc.

I use my phone Primarily for work, so I need to be efficient and productive.

I read the entire manual, watch YouTube’s, follow threads about best apps, etc.

My personal opinion is that owning cool toys is so much better when they are used to make your life better!

P.S... I make a conscious effort to not look at life through my camera and have my nose buried in my phone. It happens when you get older like me.

I still have phones lying around like Nokia 808 41mp beast and Lumia 1020 LG g6 nokia 8110 4g will sell G6 while buying Mate 20 pro...

Hi my name is Rafael and I'm addicted to phones...

Forget that this year alone 9-10 times this year.

How a about the fact I have three daily drivers.

Apple iPhone XS 64GB Gold
Huawei P20 Pro Twilight
SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 9 128GB Blue
Which phone is better in batterylife
Have the better over all experience

Are you insane? This is a thread about addiction! You can't just suggest someone get rid of their phones. There are steps involved which take time.

My phone addiction started many years ago but I am not ready to give up the goods yet. I have two Note 9s and a S9+. Oh and ummmm, I'm kinda still using my Note 8.

Don't judge me. Oh and I sleep with my phones. We have a nice relationship going here. Bye.

LMAO!

P20 Pro is my favourite overall. Battery, design I can't get over the Twilight and IR Blaster.

Followed by XS and Note 9.

I put iPhone because of the Apps and how FaceID works and functions together. Take my Scotiabank on android, no FPS support. Majority of the iPhone apps I sign in using FaceID which I love and now prefer.

Having said that, without Nova Launcher Prime and Umbra/Urman icon packs. I wouldn't own Huawei, their OS is hideous. LOL

Twilight?

I can see having multiple phones can be an advantage especially if one is being used for Beta testing.

Other than that as my Note 9 is the Duos Hybed version I can use two different network SIM cards in it negating the need to carry another phone around.

I think this should really be a general discussion thread.

Would you say I'm an addict as I have an HTC HD7, Samsung ATIV S, Lumia 950XL, a Galaxy Nexus and a Nokia 8. Those are just the ones that are working as I also have a Nexus 5X, the less said about the issues with those the better, and a Lumia 930 as well?

My daily drivers are the Lumia 950XL and Nokia 8.

Addiction is a fickle friend, it brings both pleasure and pain.

I must have had a houndred phones.

Currently on the Note 9, best phone ever. Been looking at the Mate 20 Pro but not convinced.

I have a SE W995 and K750 lying in my drawer for sentimental reasons.

I broke down and ordered the 512gb phone. I am giving the 128gb to my husband or son. I know it won't make a difference in how the phone acts, I just really wanted the bigger one....

Phone addiction is a scary thing.

I have to stick with any device I purchase until its paid off (2 years) but if I won the lotto I would prob try out a new device each month lol lol
