I'm new here and to android in general. I have the cheapest of throw away trac phones because I really don't like phones and only wanted something to dial 911 if I had to, so I'm really unfamiliar with just about everything.
However, my son wants a tablet for his 8th birthday and my parents are putting up $100 to buy him one, so I figured I'd better learn. I'm not going to get an ipad for an 8-yr-old who only wants to play Angry Birds, etc. and watch pokemon videos on the web, but I don't know what to look for in a cheaper device to meet those requirements and this site kept coming up when I googled. So here I am.
Any advice would be appreciated.
