Hi, pls help...Clicked update link

early this morning and now the phone is stuck on the samsung screen. I have never done anything with this phone other than download basic apps from the android market, like evernote, extreme alarm, roboform, basic files and that all happened a few weeks ago. I don't know what to do?
I connected my phone to my computer and have the drives, but it says Storage F insert media card but I have the media card in already.
E:failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (No such file or directory)
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted
Why would this happen when I only clicked on the update button? And nothing else?

Did you try doing a factory reset?

Remove Battery
Replace Battery
Press and hold the letter “U” on the keyboard and Press the Power button
When Samsung screen appears, release the “U” and Power button.
Press Volume Down and select ‘wipe data/factory reset’
Press Enter on the keyboard
Press Volume Down and select ‘Yes – delete all user’
Press Enter on the keyboard
Once complete press Enter on the keyboard

Thanks very much for replying, I just finished completing everything.
Once it powered on it went right back to the glowing flash like SAMSUNG log in the middle of the screen.
I don't know what else to do.
I can't even believe this happened. I wish I had said no to that update.

It seems your phone is in a boot loop

Boot loop (noun): ?simply means something is preventing the phone from completeting it's boot cycle and is stuck between the boot animation and the unlock screen, creating a looped animation. This is often fixed by either reloading a Nandroid, or Reflashing a rom from the Boot Loader.

If you have not done anything to the phone such as rooting or installing a custom rom, you should be able to get your phone replaced by sprint for little or no cost.

If you want to fix it yourself google it. I started writing how to do it and i lost my train of thought.
