Hi there, and Happy Halloween!
A little about me:
My first phone was a Motorola bag phone.
My husband works crazy hours as a Paramedic and we have 2 sons. Back when they were still home and in school, I needed my calendar to sync all their events and our work schedules.
I had a Palm Tungsten E and T2 before my first smartphone, a Blackberry 8320. Then I had a Motorola Electrify M, iPhone 5, now on a Galaxy S7 since July 2016.
I've used a Mac at work since 2001, so when I moved to the iPhone it would be great. haha. I must have customized the heck out of my Electrify, because I was so disappointed.
I'm pretty techy for a 50-ish female--sink or swim when you work for a small business! My co-workers all ask for help syncing their phones to their calendars, etc...(Though I haven't rooted anything since my Nooks years ago--so not THAT techy!)
Considered a move back to an iPhone 8, only because we are still on Macs at work, and Face Time seems super-convenient. I thought "Surely NOW you don't need all your apps on your home screen, buried in folders. Surely NOW you can select your own default apps. Surely NOW you can add storage... " and so on.
Time to get back on the forums and start researching phones--want to get a new one during Black Friday/Cyber Monday!
Have a great day!
