I'm new to this forum but not to electronics. Been buying and fixing and rooting and trying different things on all my devices. Except this time I said I'm not screwing around with my new phone. Lol. Well I did. I bought an SD card to expand my internal storage and now it says it's corrupted only just after inserting it and trying to format it as it directed me. Now I can't figure out how to fix it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! SD cards can get corrupted relatively easily, since even well-known manufacturers use relatively low quality memory chips. If you remove the card from the phone and insert it into your computer, can your computer read it? If not, then it's probably damaged beyond repair. If it's a Sandisk, contact them for warranty replacement.

Welcome to the forums! How did you define the card, as adoptable or as portable storage?
