Thanks for all of the info I have found so far. I have just rooted my EVO 4g. I have just gone back to school after a 7 year break. I spent that time in the Marines as a Grunt. I have installed the wifi Tether and it helps so much as my school have large dead spots. I would like to flash a new rom and am currently looking at other threads. I want to keep my phone as fast as possible. I haven't been able to remove bloatware but i have frozen it with mybackup app. Thanks for all of the great info.

I currently use a samsung Galaxy Tab at school and it has all of my books and notes so thats why i wanted to try rooting my phone first. I don't have sprint service on my Tab and the only reason i have it is it was miss marked at a store for $99 with no service.
