Hidden Contacts in Hangouts?

Hi everyone,

I'm using a Sprint S5 and I've been trying to figure out how to get some of my contacts into the Hidden Contacts category. Whenever I press & hold a contact, the only options I get are Delete, Archive or Turn Notification Off.

Has anyone else been able to make this work? I'd appreciate any help you may be able to give.

There is a "Hidden Contacts category"?

Yep. Under settings, I select my email address and then there's an option for Hidden Contacts. But when I click on that, it's just empty & says "No Hidden Contacts." Nothing I do allows me to add any contacts & there aren't any other options on that page (Help & Feedback don't have any helpful info either).

I know about Hidden Contacts they are contact that are being hidden from your phone. I have never heard of a category of hidden contacts in Hangouts.

Some people have alot of contacts in their Email they don't want connect to their phone.
