Hide app in app menu?

Is there a way to have an app not display when you bring up the full app list on the EVO? Not talking about deleting, just hiding so it is not in the list.

For example, I have seen posts that you shouldn't delete friendstream or peep since they are so integrated in to Sense and that is fine by me, but I really don't want to have to look at the or accidentally select them when I pull up the app menu. Is this possible?
