While you can't remove it, you can hide the bloatware by making a group in your app drawer and leaving it set to your group. Just open the app drawer and tap the upper left corner, where it says All apps. You can create a group and select what amps you want to show. The drawer will remember which group you chose, so next time you open it it'll bring up the new group.

I don't know if this is widely known or not but I just discovered it so I thought id share.

Nice one, alpha 2! I did just that, it's a lot cleaner looking.

My Droid 3 seems more sluggish than my Droid 2 did. I wonder if it would speed up if I put some apps in the garbage that I will never use ("Let's Golf", etc.) ...

The only downside I see is if you download a new app, you will have to manually set it to your new group before it shows up in the drawer.

My 3 is a bit laggy also, im hoping it works itself out over the next couple days.

My D3 was quite laggy as well. I have had mine for 10 days now. Yesterday I installed Launcher Pro and it was like my D3 just downed 4 Red Bulls. It made an incredible difference! I had run Launcher Pro on my D2 and loved it but wanted to get a feel for the stock/motoblur launcher first. I should have installed Launcher Pro a week ago!

Regarding bloatware, the games such as Let's Golf can be simply uninstalled. The other bloatware can't be removed unless you have root access... which we don't have yet.
