Hide Number

I have a HTC EVO 4G, the original. Is there any way to hide my number or do I have to use *67?

I looked in settings for the phone, and didn't see anywhere to enter in the *67 to make it a bit more convenient. Note, I'm running ICS so this could be different for Froyo or Gingerbread.

Only other option I think of is maybe an app from the market that may work together with your phone to hide your number.

Thanks, I'm new to Android so I'm trying to figure this all out. I'm a former BB user. Want to know about rooting and all this stuff.
