hide or delete apps

is there a way we can hide or even delete a preloaded app like the at&t one. I remember seeing something about them but cant remember where i saw it at.

Titanium backup. Freezing keeps the app hidden, uninstall does just what it says with the app. There is a free and paid version for use.

LauncherPro will hide them as well.
