Hide the Apps drawer

I rarely want to access the Apps drawer; I have already placed my apps on home screens.
I want that space back at the bottom of the screen -- don't want to access the drawer.
I really only click on the Apps icon by mistake!

Can I hide it somehow?

not with the stock launcher, but any replacement launcher will do that.
