I've been looking at the case designs by Treegloo and Portenzo... Treegloo is already showing their N7 case design offering (though they won't ship for a couple of weeks), and while Portenzo hasn't stated anything definitive yet, it's a no-brainer that they will be introducing something as well (per their facebook page they're already looking into it).

From what I've read in various reviews, both are reported to be very nice but with a slight edge in build quality historically going to Portenzo.

If you've had experience with either or both of these cases -- or others that are similar in style and quality -- I'd love your input as to not only initial impressions of quality you might have had, but how well they hold up with time and use, and how easy/difficult they are to care for.

Thanks in advance!

I had a Portenzo case for my ipad 2. The ipad never really seemed to fit well in the case so I had them ship me another one. I had the same problem with the second case. However, I must note that Portenzo's customer service is top notch and the cases generally receive good reviews.

The wife (as she is prone to do) dropped the Portenzo case on our hardwood floor and the ipad fell out and the screen cracked. Apple replaced the ipad under their "everyone gets one oops rule".

I ended up getting a case from Maroo.com. They have $45 cases and high end $99 cases. I would recommend one of the $99 cases. Maroo is still thinking about making a Nexus 7 case according to the email response I received from them a few weeks ago. If they make a high end case for the Nexus 7, I will definitely buy one. I think the Portenzo type cases are too bulky for the Nexus. Plus I think a high quality leather case like the $99 Maroo ones enhance the look of the tablet.

If you need more info, let me know. Also, if anyone finds any other high end Nexus 7 cases please let us know.

Thanks for the tip on Maroo. I checked them out, but assuming their offering for the Nexus 7 ends up being of similar detail as their current Kindle Fire selection (which from what I've seen is generally the case with other manufacturers - no pun intended), I'm not terribly partial to it.

Their iPad cases seem to be of a wholly different level of design and construction, and would merit consideration if I had gone that route, but I'm all android.
