My samsung galaxy alpha is locked, as my fingerprint scanner suddenly ceased to function, and it prompt me to use my backup password which i cannot remember. (how many digits is it? ) Even the normal camera function without password activation is missing
When i started my phone.. i did not sign it in using the samsung account, thus my samsung account only has my old note details. I did not on the debugging option.
The only consolation is that if i insert my sim card.. i can receive calls and whatsapp msgs (but can't call out or see the msgs).
I tried to max out my wrong password attempts.. but i can actually go on for more than 50 times, and it doesnt prompt me for my google account. In fact it only locks me out for 30seconds each time. It only says "unable to verify your fingerprint X times"
I tried android device manager but it can only detect that my phone is online but unable to locate it's location. When i click the "ring" option, the phone doesnt ring. When i click "lock" option to change the password, it will send a msg to my phone, but then the password is unable to change as it is "locked by android device manager"
What else can i do to unlock my phone? As i have tons of photos and information i want to retrieve. Is there anyway to retrieve the information inside before rebooting? i know how to do a hard reset, but i do not want to do it as i want my information inside the phone.
Does unlockriver works? ie giving out the imei code.
Can ADB work?
or hacking?
I tried Samsung Support and they can only reset the phone. Seems like a tough nut to crack.
Calling for the professionals with unorthodox methods.. please help if possible.
