I could swear this was covered somewhere but I can't find it...

What is the difference between these power modes? Which one are most people using?

Thanks!

Well, playing with it, it might be that "normal" mode disables 4G. That doesn't seem logical considering it's an LTE phone that should -normally- be in 4G. Not sure this is the case though.

?

The online manual has the detailed descriptions, I believe. We discussed this a while back when the phone first came out, but basically, you're gonna want to stick to High Performance and then individually turn off any features (auto-sync, background data, GPS, 4G toggle on/off, etc) you don't need in order to save you some juice.
Anything other than High Performance will disable 4G, which I'm sure nobody wants.

Also, turning off High performance disables you from getting email without having to go in and manually refresh it. Haven't found out how to go in and turn on automatic pushing though, as I've not really worried about it since most of what I get is spam anyway >>

Thanks. Sorry for the repeat question. Just couldn't find it for some reason.

Been using my phone set at Economy. No 4G up here...only 3G and it's faster with my phone then on my home computer ! I'm online usually to check some NOAA weather sites and maps, this site, and the usual Google search and get into jumping around from site to site. 2 email accounts also get checked a lot using the manual method with the Mobile app pinned to the second swipe page so it's just a tap on - check - then tap off. And yes, it does sit in standby mode at times for hours. After having the phone for over a month, now I'm getting a solid 2 sometimes 3 or more days of standard battery life which works fine for me.

That's not true. I have had my phone in Normal mode since its release. I get 4G. I also get my emails pushed to me from Gmail. It will switch to 3G only when I toggle from high to normal or normal to low. But if I leave it in normal and restart the phone, I always get 4G in a 4G area.

I could not find any reference to this in the pdf manual. Please tell me what online manual are you referring too?
