I was wondering what was the highest speed everyone has got with there 4g and where there location was. Mine so far is 47mb down and 17mb up in central mass. Just wondering what other people have got. I have heard of 60mb down but wasn't sure if anyone with a rezound has got it. For anyone who doesn't know how to test it download the speedtest.net app but I'm sure most of you know this already.

I've gotten in the high 50's but since Verizon did an update a few mos back I've never gotten close they throttled us or me for some reason.

I have seen over 60mbps on my rezound once, and i bought my phone in November, which was replaced by my gs3. I have seen over 60mbps on my gs3 several times.

Wow, I live around Sacramento and I am apparently "Surrounded by Towers" according to several VZW techs and my Download Speeds is only in the low to mid 20's

I'm happy for you guys though.
I've never seen anything that fast even when I hook my CPU up with a wired connection and I have Comcast Internet.

Verizon should give me refunds. At home, I never see higher than 10mb. Driving around town (Orange County), I've seen spikes into the 50s on occasion.

I'm the same here in Kansas City.

Wow, really? I thought Comcast had that cheap 100 Mbps service for like $59/month or something, they did when I lived in SE Minnesota anyway... Around here 30 Mbps is the "cheap" cable modem package for home users, with 50 Mbps, and 100 Mbps connections possible (and these turn out to be on the low side in reality, actual speeds average 10-15% higher)... then again, these all pale in comparison when I go into the central office at work (we are a local telco, VoIP, ISP, TV provider) which has multiple redundant 100 Gbps fiber connections to Level 3's and XO's backbone network, and then I plug my laptop into the core switching network... it's stupid fast.

And Verizon, still pretty darn fast!!

When I first got the rezound in late December I was getting 50/15 in some areas but now I average about 25/5 at home I have Verizon FiOS Quantum fiber internet 75/35 so I get great Wifi speeds.

When I go to Duluth I get 4g but the fastest I have ever received is around 13-14.

At home we just got e-HRDP so it will be awhile before I see 4g at home.

I have the fastest residential Internet deal, it's called BLAST! And I've never seen it go past 25Mbps. It costs around 50 bucks/monthly. The cheapo internet is like $10 less and you only get 10-12Mbps which is still OK to stream Netflix, online gaming etc.
The guys at the Comcast office are talking about the 1Gbps speeds that are apparently in the testing stage and only a couple of neighborhoods on the East Coast have it so far.

So yeah I guess in 10 years the normal speed for everyone will probably be around 100Gbps like you were saying and our children will look at us and say "You actually had to wait for Downloads? And what is a "Loading Screen?" :D

These are amazing speeds but with this speed how realistic are Verizon's data limits?

Do you have any issues with you Rezound with 4G connecting when opening apps, i always get a connection issue on the first time i open anything like FB or the browser, and the icon completley disappears then comes back on. I have had to use 3G which works great but not as fast, plus im on my third Rezound as they have just replaced the phone when i take it in and tell them about the issue. ive tried it with and with out wifi and wifi completely turned off. it doestn go to 3G service, the 4G icon just disappears and its all over the city, not just in one portion of town. Plus when i moved to ICS the new OS drained by extended battery and it would only last about 4-5 hours. so with the newest certified phone i got i did not upgrade for a couple of weeks, and i just downloaded ICS and just used the CDMA instead of the LTE/CDMA and it finally works as it should. i know im all over the place but im a little frustrated that i cant use the 4G that i was promised. Any information you have will help

maybe there is a problem with the 4g antenna in the extended battery cover. Try to use the stock battery with stock battery cover and see how it goes.

First of all do a factory reset. I know it kinda sucks cos you have to start over but it's worth it cos it fixes a bunch of problems. Try swapping out your SIM card too.
When out and about the town try leaving your WIFI off. Turning off WIFI seems to stabilize my phone.
Also see what is actually draining your battery on the POWER menu, it could be an App that is stuck trying to do something.

Also what Dpham00 said.
