I'm approaching delicately like I would with my wife (no offense)...... Did you have a case on it? Key word in Gorilla Glass is the latter word Since this device is covered in glass it is a crack magnet that only a drop absorbing case could love.

I usually have a Case on but of course last night I didn't. I took it off to connect the Aux cable from the car which doesn't fit otherwise. (I drove a 07 Jeep Grand cherokee, no Bluetooth lol, and time to upgrade on the car anyways too)

Of course I have insurance for thr Note 7 but to use it now when i have to anyways give it back its not worth it... hahaha.. just in time to get the replacement.

It just sucks because it happend the last days I will have it.

The edges are definitely a weak spot and the height from where it fell should of been no problem to withstand. I've seen videos where they hammered that thing with force so a light drop shoupdnt of been this desasterous. LOL

I'm happy though it still works..

I know you are not with Verizon, but the Verizon page is saying it is taking back all phones, even damaged ones, so you should not have a problem. Thankfully it happened on the recall phone.
