The nexus gets stuck at the google screen.
Question is why does hitting the tablet on the left side hard or sharply solve the boot loop problem?
Understanding the solution, which I would assume is not a software problem, could help me (and maybe others) stop this problem occurring in the future.

Have owned a Nexus2013 for just over 2 years.
About 6 months ago started having screen orientation problems.
Cleared cache data....fixed.
Then touchscreen unresponsive....long start button press.... fixed.
Above occurred several times.
Did a factory reset. Hoping to solve these problems.
Now have had the google screen bootloop problem twice.
Problem was fixed but why does this "hit the left side" fix the problem?????
Does this tablet wear out after 2 years of use and abuse?
Each problem seem to be more serious than the last.
Not an urgent problem as everything seems to be ok at the moment but would love to hear peoples ideas.

Two years of use? No, my daughter's 2012 N7 is still running.

Abuse? That's a different matter. These weren't made ruggedized.
