Holding camera button odd noise?

Anyone notice when taking a picture if u hold down the shutter button for several seconds it almost like double focuses and makes an odd noise from the lense, takes the picture, then beeps, which it doesn't normally do if u were to just tap the shutter button. I did not see anything about this in the manual, so any ideas? I've tried it on two tbs now and it does it on both.

It's just the auto fucus being overridden by you holding the screen. It thinks you're trying to focus manually. It's simple...don't hold the screen when in the camera mode. Just tap on the location you want to focus, let the little box turn green, and hit the shutter button.
