Hole Above the Volume Rocker

Anyone have an idea what the hole above the volume rocker is? Taking off the battery cover it looks like a dead end to no where but you would figure it has some kind of function.

It is where you can attach a lanyard.

It's for a lanyard style strap, so you can strap that bad boy on your wrist like a camera.

I think its a trinket/charm connector. ??? Not sure, haven't explored the manual yet.

Ah right right. Makes sense.

I thought so too.. When you take the cover off you see a little hook. So i guess you put the string threw and secure it with that.

took some pics... wifes EVO camera. Pretty strong too. pulled on it . Pain to get thru the hole but squeeze the strap and it should go thru with little problem. the screen lock is my wife's drawing.

Hmm I thought it was a peak hole were the little android guy stuck his head out.
