Home / app screen keeps flipping/scrolling when moving icons?!

Help! I noticed something really weird when trying to move an app icon.

As soon as I want to move the icon (holding down), the home screen keeps scrolling to the left. Even if I move my finger to the centre of the screen or to the right, it keeps scrolling...continuously! The only way to make it stop is removing my finger from the screen.

The same thing happens when I go to the app page and press 'edit'. In this case, the page keeps jumping left and right.

I'm not aware of any software updates that might cause this. I think the last update was a couple of weeks ago and I only noticed this issue yesterday.

Do you have the "Pan to move icon" setting enabled in the motion controls? Try setting your device down on a table and then moving the icon and see if the same problem occurs.

*Shame* Yes...yes, it was...I don't know why it would be switched on though because I never use the motion functions. In any case, thanks a lot! It's a big relief...I thought my phone was giving up on me!
