Can home button be used as a wake up button or turned off as a wake up button????

By default, the home button wakes up your device. However, the opposite cannot be done without extra software or hacks. There's an app (I can't remember the name) in the Play Store that allows you to customize what the Home Button can do and doesn't require root.
