Home screen long press problems?

Anyone else experiencing problems doing a long press on the home screen panels? I've experienced this to varying degrees on all my phones, but it seems to be more of a problem on my Note 8 than any previous handset that I've owned.

Sometimes I will just want to resize a widget, or move an app shortcut and it will take me a few tries. Most times it will register as a swipe motion and try to switch panels on me. I'm curious to see if I'm doing it wrong or if others have experienced something similar.

You can set the sensitivity of it, I changed from low to medium and it works better
