Home screen news and notification feed???

Looking at switching from BlackBerry to Pixel.....

Think maybe it's called Google Now??? Similar to the IPhone home screen that shows the news, weather, some stocks, an all notifications??
What's this called, and does the Pixel (3) come with this or can you easily get it???

I love this feature on my wifes IPhone and if I can get it on the Pixel, SOLD !!!!!!!

It's called Assistant, and while it will do most of what you want, you still need to pull down the notification bar for, well, notifications.

Hmmm, I think I have assistant and it's no where near as cool as the page/feature I was describing on the Iphone.
Guy at the store told me it was called Now, but they didn't have a "live" phone and my phone says "not compatible" thru the Playstore.

I think you mean Google Feed and yes it's to the left of the homscreen. Notifications are handled differently as they are accessed with a swipe down drom the top on the screen or gesture with the FPS.

So, can you just swipe back and have this page show up or do you have to "tap" it to open??

So excited for this new phone. Had it down to the P3 and the Mate 20 Pro, but the Pixel is winning me over!!
