Home screen settings issue

Hi, just got the essential and love it. One issue i have come accross is...long press on homescreen to get to wallpapers, widgets, and home settings...doesnt work anymore if i only "select" home settings...i dont have to change any settings, only the act of selecting it kills it..

Only way to get it back is to clear launcher 3 app data and cache.

Anyone else notice this???

I wanted to send error log to essential but cant find where to do it on the phone. Anyone???

Hi, I too have noticed this. I got mine from the prime day deal for $250. This happens to me downloaded some apps but move off home screen only open them. and swipe left for google feed does not work also.

Had to restart phone to correct. has happened 3 times since turning it on.

Not a solution to the stock home issues but I was having similar problems. Installed lawnchair launcher and have had zero issues.

Stock the Google to the left would stop working for me.

Occasionally my swipe left for Google quits working. I've discovered that if I go to Home Settings after a long press on the home screen, I can get it to resume by toggling the selection for it off, then back on.

I haven't run into the other issue.

Essential told me it is a known issue, they are working on it. I just dont go to home settings anymore and all is good.

Hmm, funny, I go to home screen settings and haven't had that problem?

fyi, resolved for me with pi update...working fine now!!!
