Home Switcher issue

I saw in another thread (even prior to the excellent writeup in todays app round up) about Home Switcher, and it gave me the confidence to try out Launcher Pro Plus (which after some fiddling with the preferences has been generally excellent) but Home Switcher itself seems to be having a problem. Even when I set the moto home to the default, it won't stay there. As soon as I hit the home button it instantly kicks me back to the Launcher Pro version.

Now, at the moment I am using LPP as my main launcher, so it's not the end of the world, but I at least wanted to be able to show people the default launcher (which really isn't too bad) so they have an idea of what to expect if they buy an X. Does anyone know what gives, or how I can fix it so it won't switch back until I tell it to?

Im in the same boat. Kind of ludicrous there is no native way to handle this.

It's actually not Home Launcher that the problem is with, Launcher Pro changes the Home Button action to launch itself. If you want to use Launcher pro and change the home button back to defaults, do this:

menu>settings>applications>manage applications>launcher pro>clear defaults

That should reset the Home button action back to going to the home screen rather than launch Launcher Pro while using the Moto one.

EDIT: I think you can only change the defualts in the paid version of it, not sure about the free vesion.

I have the paid version, but that didn't work
