Homepage Problem

When I use Samsung internet I have 'quick access' set as homepage and 'bing' set as search engine. A few days ago google.com started coming up as home page when I click on 'new tab'. I've tried to fix it but nothing works. I have also tried setting homepage to bing.com. Homepage still comes up as google. Very irritating.
Anyone know what's causing this and how to fix it?
I have a Galaxy j7. Had it a little over 2 years now and it's never happened before.

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, select Internet, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now open it again and try to set your homepage and search engine.
