Homescreen motion

Okay I'll do my best to describe my question in text. Is there anyway on my s3 to make my homescreen image move when I swipe from one page to the next. Almost like it's letting me view more of the image to either the left or the right when I go to each page on my homescreen? Is this possible? Do I need to download something from the Playstore?

I imagine you're talking about something similar to HTC sense skin. No you can't do it with the S3. Maybe you can after rooting

You could check out wall paper wizardry in the play store. It allows you to set pictures as scrollable or not. I don't know how it works for touchwiz as I originally used it to stop the scrolling on my dinc.

It is a great wall paper app though so worth a look.

Damn I was afraid of that, drmaf I'll try what you said and see if it works. I really don't want to root the device just for this, and seeing as how it's only going to be a week old tomorrow I still have some warranty on it other than my insurance I decided to add with the phone. Thanks guys

I downloaded the app and see where it gives me the option to set is as scrolling but it doesn't seem to work. Do you think that maybe with an update at some point it may work? Or is this something where I will probably have to root my device eventually? I did notice that it lets me set the whole image as a wallpaper instead of the ugly cropped version so that is a plus that it really helped me out with.

Yup, this is what I did as well. I'm loving Nova Launcher so far as well, much better than TouchWiz. Check it out.

Very possible. The reason this doesn't work in stock form is because Touchwiz does not support scrolling wallpapers. Simply using a different launcher will fix that. I use Nova Prime, for example.
