Homescreen vs Camera Battery Indicators...

Has anyone else noticed that the battery indicator that shows up on the camera is much more accurate than the one on the homescreen?

I found this odd... perhaps it's fixed in Samsung's release of Froyo.

Is there any way to replace the homescreen battery indicator with something else? Not being an android expert, I wasn't sure if this was possible.

Yes I've got Captivate and it happened to me. If you don't want it, here is a workaround which I found out:
