Ok, so the X is my first Android so this my be a noob question. I have some how locked my home screen and can no longer place apps or widgets there from the trey. I get the fuzzy white borders but nothing will turn green to let me place. Furthermore, any apps I had already put there delete from there if I try to adjust their placement.

I have searched the user manual and the Settings menu. I am sure this is an easy fix but I am stuck.

Thanks

I've had the same issue. A reboot will temporarily solve the problem but it will come back. Don't know how to solve it long term.

Same issue here. What's more if you lose the shortcut your dragging it will end up in a random folder but it doesn't show up right away. I haven't found a fix yet but trying to tell motorola.

Haven't had this issue in a few days which probably means that it happens when you're playing with your widget layout a lot. Since I've got my phone pretty much setup the way I like it, I haven't been doing as much goofing around.

Only solution seems to be a reboot.

Ditto here... Glad other people are experiencing this problem. The way that I've been able to correct it is to "task-kill" the "Home" app which apparently resets the home page somehow. After that, you're able to go in and find the apps in whatever random folder they have been moved to. Not a huge issue, but very, very annoying. Hopefully this glitch will be fixed sometime soon.

1.13.604

Installed the 1.13.604 update last night and haven't had the problem since, looks like they took care of it! :D
