I already have a weather widget so any suggestions to those are unneeded. Im looking for widgets are interactive and have specific functions. I think the facebook and twitter widgets are great ! But only if there was one thats 4x4 and had more features.

I would suggest Android Pro Widgets. Full calendar widgets, contacts, Facebook/Twitter, bookmarks. Similar to LauncherPro widgets but without the launcher. :)

I use to use Launcher Pros widgets but since I'm no longer using LP.. I switched to Pure Messenger widgets and actually like them better.

Fancy Widgets 4x2 Clock and Weather Widget.

Jorte 4x4 Calendar Widget.

Android Power Control Widget.

Thanks android pro widgets is very cool think I'm going to by it ! Love how they have themes! And can change it to what ever size I want!

Right now, I've got these widgets spread over 7 homescreens (in Nova):

  • Beautiful Widgets for clock and weather
  • BK Mobility Power Widget for toggles
  • Smooth calendar
  • Remember the Milk for tasks
  • A ton of stock ICS photo widgets for pets and family

Am I the only one who thinks the ICS photo widget is a huge improvement over the older stock photo widget? I love the extra bit of empty space around the new widgets, lets that wallpaper shine through! :D

I think live wallpapers are a, must to keep your home screens from being stagnant.

Get make my own clock widget maker from market. Create widgets with clock, date, location and phone status detail. Many different size widgets, 1x1 to 4x3. Large gallery of user shared designs to use or modify for your own needs. A little work to create your own widget but you then have exactly what you want for a look.

this question really depends on what you like to do with your phone. Are you a Google Reader junkie? Prefer keeping up with friends on Fb or Twitter? Or maybe your into aesthetics and like having info and switches at your finger tips?

For the switches, Widgetsoid is great and highly customizable:

If you like lots of information easily available like weather, battery level or the date and want something customizable then Minimal Text is awesome:

There are also tons of other info widgets with lots of interesting looks if you decide which info is most important and want to search out specific widgets for that info (ie: a circle that eventually diminishes as your battery drains etc.)

And like someone else said there are TONS of live wallpapers that will make your home screens very enjoyable to view even if you don't pack them with widgets. Any specific questions just let us know.

If you use folders I suggest Folder Organizer. Allows you to customize folder icons. Comes with a good selection of icons. You can even use photos on your phone as icons. Most icon/theme packs in the market also work with folder organizer so you have lots of options. Here is a pic of my screen, I am using a mix of ICS folders (Maps, Music, Sports) and Folder Organizer (Games, Financial, Shopping, Travel and News)
