Has anyone extracted the emulator from the latest version of the sdk yet?

I want to test how apps not optimized work before I install them on my Xoom.

Also, I have not been able to find more than about 10 to 15 apps on the market. Even though I know there's a lot more for honeycomb.

It seems like the honeycomb market is a disaster...there isn't even a dedicated tablet section (!!!)

I'm sorry, but "featured tablet apps" is not my idea of a tablet section...

Your right a one place easy find in the market would be great. Hope one does come along. Until then check the sticky up top most apps tested are listed and have links for a easy download.

The Market developers have NOT made it easy. Here's something I've noticed... If you go through each category at the right side of the Market home page, some of them will have a sub-category of "Tablet". I've noticed some tablet apps in the sub-categories that were NOT in the "Featured" section on the home page of the Market. Why do they have to make it so difficult?

One other thing I've done early on is search for "tablet" and a search for "Xoom". Right after the Xoom came out, this turned up quite a fair number of hits, but I still had to review the description to be sure it was built for a tablet or for the Xoom. Now, though, doing the same search yields a LOT more results than in the past, but it's because many developers are putting tablet in the description as part of something like, "works on tablet", when they haven't done a thing to the app.

Google could certainly do a better job here... Makes me wonder how all those Galaxy Tab owners have survived so long!
