So I just got back from my local Wireless Zone. I asked the poor gent there about the phone, "It'll be released this month!"
"This Thursday?"
"We've only heard this month. What are the internet guys saying?"
So I skipped that and asked him if Skype would launch with the phone, "Dunno, they're in a big fight now."
Okay, so what about Netflix? "You can download the app right from the app store." 'Even with the DRM issues with 2.2/2.3?'
"You can just download it. My buddy has it."
Swell.
So then I finished up with a question about VoLTE, "Well we're getting the Bionic soon. I don't know if Thunerdbolt will get it."

He mentioned that in an email they received recently that there's a possibility that Honeycomb will on the phone at launch. If not then very soon after that. His knowledge of other Thunderbolt features were flimsy at best, so get your salt out.
However, he did mention that, at least Wireless Zone, were doing preorder sign ups and that on the release you will get a free accessory when you pick it up. SO! Be sure that, if you are picking the phone up, to ask for that free accessory. If they give you grief, tell them Wireless Zone is giving free accessories. Be sure to call your local WZ to make sure they're doing it too.
