It's very much like the gingerbread build based off the SDK, very slow with really nothing working.
I love the way it looks though, the hologram UI is sweet, it feels like it's the way it's supposed to like, a lot less Apple-ized.
I don't know what the DPI/resolution settings are but things look a tad sharper, notably the text on the clock.
Switching home screens is scary slow but on the Xoom you can just tell this is going to be sweet. Adding widgets to the home screen is a little different in that you kind of see a preview and can drag it to the screen from a zoomed out perspective view.
It's not bad on the Evo's 4.3" - you can really easily see everything but the redundant buttons should be removed (home, menu, search, back) b/c we have them already on the phone.
