Honor 4x LED blinking but doesnt start

[Android Central Question]

Hey guys, I tried to fix an old broken Honor 4x thinking the battery was dead because there was no sign at all. After ordering a new battery online and replaced it now I can see the LED blinking both colors red and green successively after charging and trying to start it, but it won't start

All connectors are put tight
Charged for a few hours already using different adapters
I don't see anything else damaged
The PC doesn't detect it and I tried recovery mode as well, nothing on screen
I am not sure if it had water damage, it's been a long time, but it could be... any thoughts on that?

Have any thought why this occurs? Hopefully will get an answer for such an old model

You probably have to take to a repair shop to have them give a quote , you've done everything you could, see if it's worth fixing.
