Honor 6X fingerprint scanner durability

Hi guys, I've just purchased a Honor 6x to replace my broken LG G3 and i'm loving it!

However, moving from the G3 with the lock button on the rear, I keep pressing the 6x fingerprint scanner as if it's a button, before realising it isn't. Must be muscle memory!

Could this damage or break the sensor? Or is it pretty durable?

There's nothing to press. It's just a sensor. It's very durable, I've been using a finger print sensor for over a year now. Just pass your finger over it. The sensor on the 6x, is very good.
