Honor 7X v Galaxy Note 5?

Both phones have drawn my attention. Because I'm not a techy person that is up to date on what a good processor or whatever is, I was wondering if the 7X preform better over the Note 5? Is there any better phones (for instance an LG) for around $300?

Well, the Note 5 seems to be pretty famous in the Note world. It was a really good iteration, from what I understand.

On the flip side, I've also heard great things about the Honor 7X. It's a wonderful bang for your buck.

I'd also recommend the Moto G5 Plus - I'm pretty sure it's at the $200-ish range.

Also, Swappa is a great place - check out that site! Make sure the sellers have good reviews/standing before making a purchase, however.

Let us know if you have any further questions! Also, watching unboxing and review videos of phones in which you're interested in YouTube is also a safe bet.

LG G6 will outperform the Note 5 or the Honor 7X.
I am sure there are benchmarks out there that compare the processor of the Note 5 (Exynos 7420) and Honor 7X (Kirin 659). Here is a link.

The LG G6 with it's Snapdragon 821 will outperform both of these and it has dual cameras, a good audio output jack, great build, IP68 dust and water resistance and a compact size.

Note 5 IMO 7X has no NFC or quick charge.7X is a budget phone, Note 5 was a flagship that can still hold its own. Also has S pen which makes the note series unique.

I too would recommend the Note 5 as far as features/OS is concerned. Though the 7X is awesome, it lacks some of the features the 5 has. That's too bad that it doesn't have quick charge.
