Honor 8 worth it in 2019?

I used to have an Honor 8 a while back but it was one of my all time favorite phones. Great screen and camera, the small and pocketable. Loved that thing! I've recently flirted with buying one.

Still worth it in 2019?

Not really except the size as you mentioned, if that's your preference then it is else you can go with other options. BTW it is my favourite phone as well due to complete package in compact size.

It's a shame that phones have become mostly larger now. Maybe a p20 would serve me well (in terms of size)? I like a phone I can put in my pocket.

You’ll be better off buying another Honor phone. The processor is now 3 generations behind and the software maxes out at 8.0 Oreo. The camera isn’t that special anymore considering new Honor phones come with 40MP cameras. Even the budget Honor phones have a comparable camera. Further it’s screen is only 16:9. I recently bought an Honor 8X for my grandad and he loves it. From how much I used the phone it’s performance is comparable to the Honor 8.

My son still uses his Honor 8. It's really is a great little phone. Yes, a bit dated by now, but it still beats the specs of most midrangers out there and gets the job done. Headphone jack, NFC, and USB-C - all things many midrangers don't have. But I'm not sure where you'd buy a new Honor 8 now if you wanted one. Ebay?

I had an Honor 8 until about a year ago - and I miss it! I loved it so much! I think it's still a worthwhile purchase in 2019. Fast and smooth rear-facing fingerprint scanner; good battery life; awesome camera; sturdy glass (it has about seven or so layers of glass on it - mine put up with a lot from me and my military husband - it survived sand, camping, drills, etc); and EMUI is amazing. I think it's worth it! But that all depends on personal preference.
