HORRIBLE Samsung Protection Plus Claims Experience

I am highly upset about this plan and I regret purchasing it. I filed a claim for a cracked screen on 10/1 and called on 10/4 to check the status of my claim. I was then told that they needed more information and I should have received an email with an additional claim form to complete. I told the lady I never received such email in my inbox or spam folder. She resent it immediately while I was on the phone and it came through right away.

I completed the form and submitted it back within minutes. Fast forward to this afternoon, I called back to check on the status and my claim is still be processed. The lady I spoke with mentioned that an additional review of my claim was required and could take 4 - 7 business days to complete. I pulled up the terms & conditions of the protection plan I purchase and there is no verbiage about an additional review taking up to that amount of time to process ANYWHERE. I asked to speak to a manager which was a waste of time because there was nothing they could do.

This is absolutely absurd and makes no sense. How is Assurant Solutions able to get away with this type of service? I thought forgoing the carrier protection plan was the smarter way to go but now I see you can't really put a price on convenience and peace of mind.
