Horrible service from Samsung

Well, the timing of the article doesn't matter as much as whether they consider the FE a flagship. In other words, I wasn't asking the original question because the FE wasn't listed in the article.

I don't really care if anyone perceives the FE as a flagship or not. I've been happy with mine so far. It only really matters whether or not Sasmung does, for the reason discussed.
Timing does matter from the perspective that their philosophy could change to include other devices.

If I can't have deliver my phone back as a refund or repairs I won't buy it from the vendor or Samsung.

Sending mine back. Going to the OnePlus 8t. Cannot put up with any obvious defects in anything costing this much money. Simply unacceptable. Did it all online so I didn't have to deal with a so-called human. No issues for me.

So..... samsung says my phone is ”shipping" although fedex delivered one on Thursday..... so not sure if Sammy is that bad at communication or if they are shipping another one.

That said..... I am glad the wife is getting it. we both had Pixel3 XL's.

She seems ok going from Pixel to Samsung. I look at all of the crap on the phone and the ****ty layout and could not imagine using that on a daily basis.

I suppose at some point you would get used to it, or just come to accept it. but dang, not sure why anyone would put up with the agrivation.

My husband got his phone through Samsung and I ended up going through Best buy and I got the pink flamingo S10 Plus and it took forever. It was on back order for a long time and I didn't get it when I was supposed to and we were going out of town and I didn't get it till way after I got back. It was a mess.

I've done unlocked on my last 3 phones Note 8, 9 plus and now the 10 plus. But now that we switched to Verizon and I know I'm staying with them I may get a Verizon one this time. But not a 100 percent sure and not sure who I'll go with. How is Verizon's service getting a phone and do you still get the Samsung freebies for pre ordering?

Their philosophy should change... for a company that charges Apple-like prices for their Android phones, that also get worse update treatment than many much cheaper Android phones, and WAY worse treatment than Apple phones, it kinda makes you wonder what exactly you're really getting for the high price tag? Except of course the Samsung name on the phone, and the same specs as most other companies flagships that cost a lot less

Samsung should be able to charge the prices that Apple charges.

Samsung has a better phone then Apply does.

Samsung was the 1st people to leave the 16Gb phones years ago and go to 32GB.
Samsung has Sd cards.
Does Apple.

Samsung has had wireless charging.

Apple might incorporate it.

Samsung come out with 5G Phones 1st

Apple decided that you didn't need 5G.

But you think the apple phones are better.
Don't understand why you are not on the apple forums.

I also think that because Samsung sells so many different models of phones, it hurts their ability to keep them updated security and os wise. Plus I believe you only get 2 os updates on their flagships and one on their budget lines like Moto does (correct me if I'm wrong), where as a company like Google, with less phone models to deal with, gives you 3 os updates, and 3 years of monthly, like clockwork, security and feature updates...on all their phones regardless of price.

I think for the money Samsung should step up their update game.... especially on their flagships. A $2000 fold should get the same or better treatment than a $349 pixel 4a

I've had 3 updates in a couple months on my Note 20 Ultra.

I had a note 10 Plus.
It was a great phone.
Got updates from it all the time.

Wife had a note 9.
She loved it, She didn't want to get rid of it.
She didn't care about updates.
But for 550.00 trade it. I took it away from her.

You didn't read what I said... I didn't say Apple phones are better, I said Samsung charges the same high prices as Apple but they don't support their phones anywhere near as good as Apple when it comes to steady, long-term os and security updates. It's no secret Samsung sucks with support for their phones.... they claim they've finally got the message and are going to do better. We'll see ;)

BTW I'll never own an Apple product. They are wayyy to crooked and greedy for me to ever give them a penny.
