Hotspot stopped working on Pixel 2 XL

Hi All

I upgraded to Pie maybe about a week ago. Since then I have noticed that my hotspot does not seem to work...

I don't use hotspot every day so I can't be sure that the update was what killed it but it seems like a likely candidate.

My chromebook can see my hotspot and can connect to it but I can't load any websites, do nslookups or ping any ip addresses.

So far I have only tried to connect from my chromebook. When I get home I plan to try from my other chromebook and or my laptop.

I have phone EE and they tried sending network settings to my phone again and that didn't work. Internet on my phone is fine.

Is this just me or have other people had this issue?

I connected fine on O2 yesterday using my P2XL as a hotspot to setup a new mobile for my friend. I am on Pie. I don't know what is wrong with your phone. Sorry
