how can a i delete a photo from my note 5 but still keep it in my google drive?

I have some photos i want to delete from my note 5 but still keep them in my google drive? is there a way to do this?

Hi, yes you can delete them from the gallery app, this will delete the photo from the phone, but as long as you have successfully backed up the photo through Google Drive / Photos then it you won't loose the backed up copy. I always would suggest testing this out with a random photo first.

You could also open the Google Photos app, swipe left and click on the "device folder" this way you will also be able to delete the photos on the device.
