How can I change the lockscreen wallpaper on my Galaxy S6?

I was able to download the Captain America Theme, after the theme store being down, but I want to change the lock screen wallpaper only, but every time I change the wallpaper it only affects the home screen, any suggestions?

Long press on the homescreen and hit wallpaper. When selecting an app the change the wallpaper, make sure to choose 'wallpaper picker'. The top left will then have a drop down menu to select home screen, lock screen or both

Other options include:

Settings>Display and Wallpaper>Wallpaper: Tap on the top left corner option to select Lock screen and then from below you can select the Gallery app to find the wallpaper

You can also go straight to the Gallery app, find the picture, select "More" on the top right, choose "Set as wallpaper", and then choose Lock screen.

I can not believe I did not see that option, it was right in front of me, the only other app I am used to having that I am missing after switching to Android is Amazon Instant Video

I tried doing all of these steps but still, my lock screen wall paper wouldn't change...do I need to restart my phone?

How can i change lockscreen using google photos all my pictures are in there. I don't have any pictures in my gallery

if you have them saved in google photos, you will need to first download the pictures you would like.

Don't feel bad neither did I and I had to google it finally. Your question came up and I fixed mine as well for the same reason. I couldn't believe I didn't see that.
