How can i clean corroded section inside Samsung A51

[Android Central Question]

I dropped my phone in water and opened it after a few days to find a small square shaped copper/pink coloured section corroded slightly (marked). It's located in the top left corner as you're looking at the back of the phone. Can this be cleaned/fixed? My phone vibrates but the screen remains black and unresponsive. Doesn't charge or recognised when plugged into a laptop either. Thanks

I would get advice from phone repair shop , maybe they can give u a suggestion as some components are delicate on how you try to clean them .

The corrosion may be able to be cleaned, but would take special care to do so. Unfortunately I think it'll be a losing battle, as it is likely to return due to that prior water exposure. It's also very possible this doesn't fix the other problems.

My advice is send it to a repair shop for professional cleaning and data recovery as needed. Then make sure you keep a thorough backup going forward and consider replacing the phone.
