How can I connect my damaged S3 phone to pc?

My S3 mobile display has gone.. And I tried several times to connect it to the pc. But it not work. It has my valuable documents. So please help me to solve this....

If the documents are in the sd card then you can use an sd card reader connected to a pc to access the documents

No my docs are in the phone memory...?

If the display is broken and the touchscreen still works then you can use a mhl adapter to output to a TV
