How can I delete all messages by date?

Deleting all messages by date

I have an S6. Is there a way to delete message by date like there was on the S3 without clicking on each one individually? On the S3, you could check a box to delete all of a specific and then uncheck any you wanted to keep. I don't understand why they seemed to have eliminated this option.

Welcome to Android Central!

Samsung chose to streamline a lot of the menus in the OS starting with the S6. They may have removed it in the process.
