how can I delete files on desktop ?

I have Galaxy S5 ,when I add a file to apps menu it can't be deleted ? how can I delete it ?

Have you tried going into the app drawer and in the top left corner there are 3 dots. Click on that and click uninstall/hide apps, see if the file has a - next to it.
