How can I enable voLTE on my S7 Edge SM-G935W8

Hello all

I have an S7 Edge SM-G935W8 which does not have the voLTE settings. The phone was originally on the BMC CSC. However, despite Bell's claims of voLTE being enabled on the device, it wasn't. I then changed the CSC to XAC with the dialer code to remove the Bell bloatware, thinking it would also help to enable the voLTE. Sadly, it didn't.

I've checked, and my carrier (Freedom Mobile) supports voLTE

I've tried to flash the phone back to Bell's software, to no avail

Anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance

Bring the phone back to whoever you bought it from, ask if it supports VoLTE and, if they say it does, ask them to please enable it for you.

Or ... according to what I'm able to find:

  • From your home screen, press the Phone icon.
  • Tap More on the top right corner.
  • Scroll down and tap on Settings. ...
  • Tap on VoLTE.
  • Make sure that Use VoLTE when available is checked.

Or ...

  • Open dial and Type *#*#4636#*#*
  • Choose Phone information option from test Screen.
  • Now you can Enable VoLTE Support Provisioned Flag.
  • Restart your device.
  • Now you can see 4G LTE option under Network Bar.
  • This will activate unlimited HD Voice Calls.

I've already tried both of those methods previously, to no avail sadly. I bought this phone from a classified ads website, so I can't take it back to them. I already know it supports voLTE because my mother's phone (Exact same model) has the feature.

And for the second option:

Dialing it doesn't bring up a menu like, for example, dialing #*0*#

UPDATE: I got into the phone information tab. I tried to enable the VoLTE provisioned flag, Video Call Provisioned, and WiFi Calling Provisioned flags but they're grayed out
